Based on the Irish belief that four leaf clovers bring luck, fortune, and protection from the evil eye, players move
"Lucky Charm" game pieces around a four lead clover, searching for the pot of gold under the rainbow. Whoever reaches
the pot of gold first wins the game - no easy task. On the way to the pot of gold, your competition stalks, blocks and
knocks your "Lucky Charms" back into the starting base.
A-Tension goes one step further than other board games, giving players the necessary knowledge to use the odds to their advantage. By consulting the dice odds chart, players form a plan to beat opponents, making A-Tension a game of luck and strategy. Team play provides even more of a challenge.
The game's inventor, Fernando Terminel, has created an enviromentally concious game, with a convenient "board" made from washable canvas. The size of a card table, the canvas can be folded and carried on family vacations; friends and family can carry it along for hours of portable fun.
A casino dealer for the last 23 years, Terminel is well-acquainted with odds and the idea behind a fun game. A father and grandfather, Terminel also knows the ingredients for good family entertainment.
"You have to pay attention to play A-Tension," says Terminel. "Thats what makes it such a fun family game. And the luck involved creates a lot of suspense. That's why I used the four leaf clover theme: One leaf for hope, one for faith, one for love. God put another in for luck."
